Our mission is for Mareeba to be a strong, vibrant community with a strong, stable and broad membership base supporting our economic growth.
The Mareeba Chamber of Commerce is a privately funded, membership based, not-for-profit organisation. With over 170 members from various industries, the Chamber’s target audience has a keen interest in the local economy and meeting other business people.

The Mareeba Chamber of Commerce is committed to business and community interests in Mareeba and surrounding districts. We provide a wide range of services to business including scheduling and co-ordination of a number of opportunities and events. These include monthly functions with key note speakers and an eBusiness Newsletter, networking, business seminars, annual business awards and our publication “an economic snapshot”.
Our chamber has in excess of 350 business colleagues on our current database and we are growing each month.Mareeba Shire covers an area of 53,457km², which stretches across the base of Cape York Peninsula. Mareeba, with a population of 20,000, is the main commercial and administrative centre and lies 64km south west of Cairns. It is the largest of the four shires on the Atherton Tableland. There are a number of smaller centres in the Shire including Kuranda, Dimbulah, Chillagoe, Mt Molloy, Mt Carbine and Irvinebank.
