2008
AGM
- The chamber conducted a successful Annual General Meeting at the Mareeba Leagues Club with a 60 strong crowd enjoying a lovely luncheon. Councillor Evan McGrath very capably chaired the event and the outcome is as follows….all office bearers remain the same and three new committee members were elected - Melanie Wicks of the 20/20 Group Cairns, Amy Phillips of the Bendigo Bank Mareeba and Justin Ericson of Millar and Teitzel Mareeba. Paul Fagg addressed the floor with his Presidents Report as did Treasurer Deborah McGrath with a Financial Report for the 2007 year (January to December financial year). Newly elected Tableland Regional Council Mayor Mr Tom Gilmore was welcomed after luncheon as guest speaker offering an interesting address and question time.
