Nominations open on Monday24th July, 2023 and close on Monday 7th August 2023.

We understand that the journey of excellence is different for each business, employee and community organisation.  The 2023 Business Excellence Awards is a free, capacity building program that allows participants to:

• Perform a ‘business health check’ by submitting a submission and assessing their own strengths and weaknesses prior to receiving feedback from our esteemed panel of judges
• Be part of a supportive community who are going through a similar journey.
• Have the opportunity to be recognised as a finalist or category winner. Businesses who reach this area of the program will receive numerous benefits and elevated profile in the Mareeba community.

The 2023 program is essentially an opportunity for our local businesses to reflect on their current practices and receive recognition for a job well done. During the next few months our aim is to inspire the greater Mareeba community to become more involved in supporting local business.

Whether this be at a grass roots level of simply placing a nomination, buying local or getting a group together to attend the Business Excellence Awards; we aim to draw greater awareness to the connections between entrants, local employment, contribution to local education and the overall prosperity of our community.
